Next Generation EU Funds
Support for SMEs in the creation of investment projects within the context of the Recovery and Resilience Plan ‒ Next Generation EU Funds
Europe is to allocate more than €140 billion to Spain between 2021 and 2026, of which more than €70 billion will be non-refundable aid, to be allocated between 2021 and 2023.
To receive this money, States must prepare National Recovery and Resilience Plans in which they establish reforms and investment projects. The Government's plan is supported by four axes: ecological transition, digital transformation, territorial and social cohesion, and gender equality; the first two representing 70% of the assigned resources.
The aim of Beaz is to provide information and the necessary “thrust” to help Bizkaia’s innovative ecosystem prepare as regards the methodology to use to structure its projects. The ultimate goal is to help Bizkaia's SMEs take the first steps on the path to access future calls for tenders, which will be the vehicle to allocate these funds.
Our proposal for companies:
- Monthly newsletter with updates regarding “Next Generation EU”, containing the most relevant and up-to-date information about novelties and progress in the process to allocate funds, statement of interest, progress of tenders, related seminars, etc.
- Seminars/workshops with the aim of clarifying the “rules of the game” and helping to implement a methodology for the preparation of your Strategic Investment Plan, which contains capacities and strengths, and weaknesses to overcome. It should also address the topics of digitalisation, ecological transition and the enhancement of skills (resilience), to then structure the investments in specific individual and collaborative projects in order to access future calls for tenders.
